Discovery is about exploring to find something new. On the road of discovery you may find a new world, a new perspective, a new person, or a new idea about the world.
God may have a good surprise in store for you today.
So, let us begin a journey of discovery. Let us seek out the goodness of God in this world. Let us take time to think about what “good" means to us. Let us praise God, for God is good.next >
Once more Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they would not come. Again he sent other slaves, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited: Look, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready; come to the wedding banquet.’ But they made light of it and went away, one to his farm, another to his business, while the rest seized his slaves, mistreated them, and killed them.

Who turns down an invitation to a great party with good food? The king had prepared a feast to celebrate new life, and yet those invited to the party did not go because they were too busy. They turned down the invitation so that they could go back to work.
Are you too busy to join in the party? God has invited you to the feast so that you can taste and see the good things God has for you. Jesus came proclaiming healing for the sick, comfort for those who weep, and freedom for captives. That is the party God invites you to join. You are invited to eat up and even go back for seconds, if you want.
The goodness of God is offered at the party. You just have to show up! Maybe you need healing today. Maybe you need someone else to carry your burden. Maybe you need to know someone cares. God is here, begging you to come and eat at the feast.
