Discovery is about exploring to find something new. On the road of discovery you may find a new world, a new perspective, a new person, or a new idea about the world.
God may have a good surprise in store for you today.
So, let us begin a journey of discovery. Let us seek out the goodness of God in this world. Let us take time to think about what “good" means to us. Let us praise God, for God is good.next >
The king was enraged. He sent his troops, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. Then he said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those invited were not worthy. Go therefore into the main streets, and invite everyone you find to the wedding banquet.’ Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered all whom they found, both good and bad; so the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing a wedding robe, and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding robe?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

I used to work for a fast food chain, and we had to wear the same uniform to work everyday. I cooked fried foods that would make my clothes stink so much that my sister would make me change clothes in the garage.
Then after a couple of years I got a job working for a computer company. I was so excited for this new opportunity and the chance to wear a different uniform that did not smell like fried food. I was happy to shed the old for the new.
When we accept the invitation to the party and say "yes" to the good things God has for us, we have to be prepared to let go of our old stinky clothes in order to wear the new wedding robes. We have to be open to making some changes in our lives. Perhaps we need to change the way we think, or how we act, or what we do. We have to allow God to show us what is good for us and for the world.
