The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.

All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your faithful shall bless you. They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and tell of your power, to make known to all people your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds.

Think

We go to the Psalms to learn what God is like. Over and again they tell us: celebrated by all that has been created, God is defined by love.

This love is rock-solid, always dependable, never fading. It is offered with complete grace and mercy, intended for all. The response of the created order is to yield itself completely to love’s reign.

This steadfast love mirrors the Creator; it has no beginning and there is no end to it. Another way to express this is to say, when it comes to the love of God—there is always enough.

So may we also reflect the One who has made us, finding in God the source of a love that always, always believes there is enough for all the world, and seeks to share the abundance.

God, I know what you are like because I experience your steadfast love in my life. Use me today as a carrier of your love to others. Amen.

There is plenty. You need only take a little time to wait on God; then you will be prepared for the work God has for you.

So do not be discouraged; you can make a difference. The result may be greater than you can imagine.

There is enough and more than enough mercy, grace, and love to carry you. To carry us all.
