Take time now to seek the place where God reigns, beginning in your own heart. Then watch for the amazing things that God causes all around.

Listen

Do not fear, O soil; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Do not fear, you animals of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit, the fig tree and vine give their full yield.

Joel 2:21-22

Think

The God we love, worship, and serve is a God of abundance - the Lord who does great things! Creation, nature, the land and the critters have no fear because God provides all that’s necessary for them to flourish and bear fruit - if we humans don’t interfere with the ecosystem.

Like the lilies of the fields and the birds of the air, the land, animals, and plants trust God to send rain for green pastures and still waters.

Today, give thanks for that special sunset, for the harvest of autumn, for dawn’s early light on fresh powder, for the fragrance of balsam pine. For the Lord has done great things!

What great things has God done for you lately?
