Pause

No matter how you receive it—email, snail mail, hand-delivered, or face-to-face—there’s nothing like getting an invitation! It means somebody who knows you wants to hang out with you, spend time with you, and get to know you better.

God has an invitation for you as well. It means pretty much the same thing: God wants to spend time with you and wants your relationship to grow.

This invitation comes from within. Take a little time now to accept it.

Listen

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out your hand, and seize it by the tail” —so he reached out his hand and grasped it, and it became a staff in his hand— “so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

Exodus 4:4-5

Think

Here’s an invitation for you: Look at your hands! Awesome, huh? Nobody on earth has hands like you, has fingerprints like you, or has gifts like yours. God recognized that in Moses and invited him to pick up a snake, not as a dare, but for a purpose. God invites you and me to do the same.

Your hands are special; accept God’s invitation today to claim your specialness. Use your hands for something special, so that all may believe in the greatness and goodness of God! Wow!
