There is something powerful about affirmations! With the right words, combined with a great sense of faith and hope in the words you continually repeat over and over again, affirmations have the power to motivate and inspire. They have the power to influence and encourage. They have the power to foster amazing feelings of happiness and joy!

The writer of this Psalm has included an affirmation in its lyrics that the writer wants everyone to sing: “God’s faithful love lasts forever!” What a powerful affirmation to sing to remind us that no matter the challenges life offers, “God’s faithful love lasts forever!”

What challenges are you experiencing right now? What doubts are you wrestling with? What hurts are you enduring? What’s robbing you of your joy at this moment? With faith and hope, try affirming, “God’s faithful love lasts forever!” Nothing may happen the first time but keeping on repeating! You soon may find there is something very powerful about affirmations!

God, too often I find myself distracted by my challenges, causing me to forget how faithful you have always been in my life. Please remind me each day to sing and affirm, “God’s faithful love endures forever!” Amen.
