Ordinary Time

Pause

In the calm, God is Love.
During the storm, God is Love.

In times of peace, God is Love.
During times of confusion, God is Love.

No matter who we are, where we go, or what we do, God is always and forever Love.

Listen

I will fulfill my promises to you, God. I will present thanksgiving offerings to you because you have saved my life from death, saved my feet from stumbling so that I can walk before God in the light of life.

Psalm 56:12-13

Think

When we praise God, we proclaim to the world around us that our lives have been forever transformed by a love like no other. This life transformation comes through the love of God, displayed in the beauty of creation, and in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as in the continued guidance and faithfulness of the Holy Spirit. We could sing of the love of God forever – the examples are endless!

Singing praises to God also reflects our life goal to love others as Jesus first loved us. Our lives should be examples of God’s love for us through the way we show love to others around us. Only through God’s everlasting love do we have the strength to love others. Jesus shows us the way – let us choose the path of boldly loving God and others with our every step!

Pray

Loving God, thank you for being with me every step of the way. Please help me to show others love through the power of your holy name. Let my life prove to others the strength of your everlasting love.

Go

May God give you Grace never to sell yourself short!

Grace to risk something big for something good!

Grace to remember that the world is too dangerous for anything but truth and too small for anything but Love!
