It’s that time of year with transitions in the air. School years will soon end. New summer adventures will begin. Routines that have grounded our daily activities will soon be different. We might not see the same friends every day as we have in the past. Changes like this can feel harsh, even jolting. We wonder: what can make us feel secure again?

Yet faith helps us re-frame change. Though the foundations of our lives might shift, God is with us. God will never leave us. The details of our stories may take place with different people, in different places, or with chapters we never thought would happen to us, but our future is in God’s hands. God’s love is big enough to help us navigate even the most confusing situations. God can be trusted with the new!
