Ordinary Time

Pause

Time cannot be turned back. That is why it is necessary to evaluate if you are making the most of every moment God allows you to have. Stop and see if you are enjoying everything God has prepared for you and if what you do leads you to be a witness of God’s glory!

Listen

Those of you who love the Lord, hate evil! God guards the lives of his faithful ones, delivering them from the power of the wicked. Light is planted like seed for the righteous person; joy too for those whose heart is right. Rejoice in the Lord, righteous ones! Give thanks to his holy name!

Psalm 97:10-12

Think

Ever since I was a child, I have heard the saying “there are only two roads.” The one you choose will determine the way your life will be. This leads us to think about having to make decisions. Life is based on making decisions or choices, and that is where we face challenges because it is not always easy to decide.

In the walk of faith, scripture itself invites us to make choices. In Psalm 97, we see that the writer expresses, “the Lord loves those who hate evil.” In other words, those who love what God loves always enjoy the care and providence of God in their decision making. Draw near to the word of the Lord and in it you will find what is best for you.
