Ordinary Time

These moments are just for you. There are some big ideas just ahead, so take a moment to gather yourself.

It is a BIG God who has been made known to us through Christ. May you feel and know Christ now in fullness of truth and purpose.

Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us; glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus for all generations, forever and always. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

There may not be a more valuable trait for Christ-followers than a vivid imagination. Let’s face it, the vision that God has for the world and what we seek to bring about could use some folks who are enthused and energized by big ideas – people who can see what God sees and can help the rest of us view the images in our minds.

These are folks who introduce effective ways to share the message of good news in the face of head winds that discourage that way of thinking, that manner of seeing. These are people who insist that we can feed the hungry, house the homeless, free the captive, and make known to all the fullness of God among us. These are individuals who love in a big way.

We serve a Big God who is the giver of vivid imaginations, larger-than-life ideas, and a love revealed in Christ that makes all things possible – even more than the most imaginative can envision.

God, spark in me a big imagination so that I can see all you are doing and will do.

Make me a part of your big plans.

Go now with the confidence that the same Christ who was before the beginning of Creation is also with you, inside you, to empower and bless you.

Be a blessing then also to those you encounter today.
