I have a very big God who is always by my side,
a very big God, by my side, by my side.

You have a very big God who is always by your side,
a very big God, by your side, by your side.

We have a very big God O, who is always by our side,
a very big God O, by our side, by our side.

Therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have access by faith into this grace in which we stand through him, and we boast in the hope of God’s glory.

Romans 5:1-2

Think

Having access is such an important concept. To make a difference in our society, we need access to decision-makers who carve out how our community looks. When we do not have access or are not represented in the rooms where these decisions are made, the needs of the many are usually overlooked for the excesses of the few.

Thankfully we have access to God through Jesus Christ, who calls us to do the necessary work of caring for all creation. Access to God means we have a constant source of empowerment and motivation to do what is right. The very big God, the Creator, beckons us to share God’s glory and allow it to propel us to do good and necessary works. What better way of bearing witness to God’s glory than doing all we can to show God’s love to one another. Through Jesus, we have received grace and peace with God; now, it is on us to bring that same grace and peace to the world.

Pray

Loving God, thank you for access to your grace and peace.

Help me constantly look for ways to bring your grace and peace to the world around me by my acts of love.

Amen.

Go, keep walking your journey through life, and know that you do not walk alone as you walk.

A big God walks with you in all the places you go.
