Ordinary Time

Pause

Let us pay attention to what we can see and what we cannot see; what we can feel and touch, what we can hear and smell. God manifests in many different ways in our lives.

Listen

The skies were made by the Lord’s word, all their starry multitude by the breath of his mouth. He gathered the ocean waters into a heap; he put the deep seas into storerooms. All the earth honors the Lord; all the earth’s inhabitants stand in awe of him. Because when he spoke, it happened! When he commanded, there it was!

Psalm 33:6-9

Think

From when we wake up to when we go to sleep, we can appreciate how wonderful Gods creation is. Seeing the heavens, the earth, and all the nature God has created makes us feel alive and full of hope. God, who is great and powerful, shows us all that God can do in our lives and around us.

I regularly go to the parks to exercise, and I was very sad to see trash and broken glass bottles in different areas. On the other side of the park, I could see children running around. It made me think that these innocent creatures are not safe in a space God has provided for us to enjoy in unity.

If each person makes an effort to keep public and private spaces clean, we can continue to enjoy what God has created for our well-being. Taking care of Gods creation is the least we can do to respect what God lovingly made as a gift for humanity.

Question to Ponder:

What should we do to ensure Gods creation is better cared for and protected?

Pray

God, thank you for your creation. Thank you that through it, I see you, your love, and your blessing. As part of your creation, may I also bless others and be a reflection of your righteousness. Amen.

Go

Go into the world with an open heart to receive the goodness of God and share what you learn day by day. May the blessing of God guide and enlighten you today and always!
