Ordinary Time

Pause

Take a deep breath and remember, God wants your heart to be full of joy.

Listen

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in faith so that you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

Think

Have you ever felt so excited or thankful that you just had to tell someone? That feeling of overflowing is what Romans 15 talks about. God fills us with joy and peace, not just for our own hearts, but so it spills into the lives of others. When we trust God and stay connected, the Holy Spirit gives us a joy that can’t help but spread.

Joy shows up in how we treat people, how we respond to stress, and how we handle disappointment. Joy that overflows can change a team, a classroom, or even just one person’s day. Imagine being the person who brings joy wherever you go. You don’t have to be loud or perfect, just full of God’s presence, letting that joy flow out in kindness, encouragement, and love.
