Pause

Inhale:
There is beauty in new beginnings.

Exhale:
God, you are with me.

Listen

From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise.

Philippians 4:8

Think

Our minds are such powerful and precious gifts from God. They are easily molded by the things we watch, read, listen to, and engage in. What we put into our minds and who we choose to surround ourselves with have a huge impact on how we act, whether we realize it or not.

If we are a cup being filled daily by the things we are surrounded with, we can typically get away with hiding the things that are forming us. But, if you are walking with a hot cup of coffee and someone bumps into you, the coffee is going to spill all over the place. It is the same with the things that are filling us. When we are bumped into, agitated, aggravated, or inconvenienced in any way, whatever is on the inside of us will make an appearance one way or another. In what ways can you refocus today on the things that are filling you?

Pray

Loving God, surround me with people who are on fire for you.

Place a desire in my heart to fill my mind with things that are pleasing to you.

Amen.

Go

The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
