Ordinary Time
Give thanks for the Lord because he is good, because his faithful love lasts forever.
Psalm 118:1
Your ministry of this service to God’s people isn’t only fully meeting their needs but it is also multiplying in many expressions of thanksgiving to God. They will give honor to God for your obedience to your confession of Christ’s gospel. They will do this because this service provides evidence of your obedience, and because of your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone. They will also pray for you, and they will care deeply for you because of the outstanding grace that God has given to you. Thank God for his gift that words can’t describe!
2 Corinthians 9:12-15
All week long we have wondered together about what it means to be thankful to God and how to be a blessing to others around us through the gifts that God has given to each of us. The week of Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for each of us to remember the goodness of God in our lives. May this spirit of thankfulness stay with each of us after this week is over.
It is also the perfect time to reflect on how we can spread thankfulness and blessings towards others around us in our community and greater world. May God’s gifts and talents that have been given to you be a source of cheerful giving to others as you go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Question to Ponder:
How is God calling you to give thanks to the community and the world around you?
Dear God, I am listening.
Show me where you would like for me to go in this world to spread your love.
Thank you for all that you do for me in me life. I am thankful for your goodness.
Help me to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world around me.
Amen.
May the spirit of thanksgiving live within you,
not just during the season of thankfulness,
but from the time you rise in the morning
until the time you lay your head down at night.
May the name of the Lord be praised!
