Ordinary Time
Close your eyes and seek a total connection with God. Think of God and consider what you might receive in this moment.
Christ didn’t enter the holy place (which is a copy of the true holy place) made by human hands, but into heaven itself, so that he now appears in God’s presence for us.
Hebrews 9:24
Schindler’s List is one of the most poignant films concerning the history of the Holocaust. Oscar Schindler, a German businessman, changed his outlook on life when he saw all the suffering that the Jews were experiencing under the Nazi regime. In the film, you can see how Schindler begins to defend the Jews and begins to hire them for his business in order to save their lives. In other words, Schindler was the defender and savior of thousands of Jews who could have been counted with the lives lost.
When I think of this story, I think of what God has done and continues to do for me. Trusting God in the midst of experiencing any suffering or affliction has led me to move forward, overcoming every obstacle. The fact that we have another new day means that we have new opportunities from the God who is on our side.

Question to Ponder:
What new opportunities are you awaiting from God?
God, I thank you for always being on my side, knowing that your will is good, pleasing, and perfect. Give me the discernment and wisdom to understand and accept what you have done and continue to do for me. Amen.
Keep moving forward and never stop sharing what you have received from God.
