Ordinary Time
Look around you, feel the breeze, and experience the loving warmth of God.
Also, let’s hold on to the confession since we have a great high priest who passed through the heavens, who is Jesus, God’s Son; because we don’t have a high priest who can’t sympathize with our weaknesses but instead one who was tempted in every way that we are, except without sin.
Finally, let’s draw near to the throne of favor with confidence so that we can receive mercy and find grace when we need help.
Hebrews 4:14-16
Do you feel overwhelmed, tired, and drained? Do you think you have exhausted all resources? Have you considered giving up?
These are questions that frequently come to mind. But you know what? Feeling that way or thinking that way is part of our nature as people. Don’t think that you are less than anyone else for sometimes experiencing these thoughts. In our journey, there will be times when we will want to give up. Frustration and discouragement will come into our lives. We will even feel that others do not understand us. However, there is one who understands our weakness: God. The Lord knows our brokenness very well because God has experienced exactly what we have experienced. Not only that, but today God invites you to trust and rest in the love and grace God offers. Jesus wants to heal you and renew your strength so you can keep walking.

Question to Ponder:
Where am I placing my trust?
At times when my strength is failing, I rest in you, O Lord.
Today, I am struggling with…
Renew and restore me.
Amen.
Keep following God.
You are not alone, never alone.
God is with you.
God is with you.
