Have you ever gone for a walk and suddenly realized you were lost? It has happened to me many times! I go out with my wife to visit a place, take the wrong route, and it is difficult to get to the destination. At that moment I get desperate, cranky, and even my nerves betray me.

However, I remember that I have key tools around me that will help me get back on the right track. First, my wife is there, who knows a lot about directions and routes. Of course, there is also the famous GPS, which will direct me and can even tell me how to avoid traffic or any obstructions on the road.

The same thing happens in our lives when we allow God to direct us. Many times we feel lost and disoriented, not knowing what to do or what decision to make. Through scripture, God illuminates our path, gives us peace, and nourishes our being so that we can follow and arrive safely and securely to the place God has called us.

Dear God, at times I have felt confused and lost. I need you to be my guide. Lead me with love and grace through your word which is a lamp to my feet.
