Journey to the Cross
We can connect with God through our breathing.
Slowly breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this a few times.
God is with you.
Hope in the Lord! Be strong! Let your heart take courage! Hope in the Lord!
Psalm 27:14
I don’t know about you, but I didn’t receive a user manual or a card or note with instructions from God when I was born, with a step-by-step plan for exactly how to live my life. I do, however, own a copy of the Bible. I have family and friends who know me and who I turn to for help and advice. I go to church and use apps like this one as part of a practice to grow closer to God. And I have paid attention to the things I’m good at—gifts—and found ways to use those for the benefit of others, to be of service.
Let your heart take courage! Hope in the Lord! Be strong! God has given us everything we need. As we trust in God, so too does God trust in us.

Question to Ponder:
How can you let your heart take courage?
Eternal Spirit, loving God, I put my trust in you. You have put me right where I’m supposed to be and given me everything I need. Let my heart take courage! And let me serve you humbly all my days. Amen.
Trust can take a long time to build. Where do you want to put your trust today?
