Ordinary Time
Close your eyes and seek a total connection with God. Think of God and consider what you might receive in this moment.
Unless it is the Lord who builds the house, the builders’ work is pointless. Unless it is the Lord who protects the city, the guard on duty is pointless.
Psalm 127:1
In 2015 I made the decision to continue my theological studies at a theological school in Newton, Massachusetts. I felt that God was calling me to serve with the Latino population in the United States. Making the decision to move was not easy, since I lacked nothing and did not need to leave because of any shortages I had. Trusting God in the midst of the process was vital for me to feel at peace with my decision. I knew that the call to studying and pastoring came from God, and God’s care was always present even in challenging moments.
The role of the architect is extremely important in the construction of a building. The architect prepares the plans and knows every detail necessary for the construction to be completed without any mistakes. When I examine my life, I think of God as the architect and me as the builder. I have to trust God’s plans and care.

Question to Ponder:
How do we sometimes lose the architect’s direction in the middle of construction?
God, in this hour I ask that you continue to be the architect of my life. In your divine presence may I work in the construction of my life with your direction and care to achieve your every purpose in my life. Amen.
Keep moving forward and never stop sharing what you have received from God.
