Ordinary Time
Be quick, you must be strong
Life is full of wonder
Love is never wrong
“Silent Legacy” by Melissa Etheridge
Sing to the Lord a new song because he has done wonderful things! His own strong hand and his own holy arm have won the victory! The Lord has made his salvation widely known; he has revealed his righteousness in the eyes of all the nations. God has remembered his loyal love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; every corner of the earth has seen our God’s salvation.
Psalm 98:1-3
Have you done something new for God lately? Last week, I did. I traveled to Honduras for a mission trip. It was my first trip out of the country by airplane.
Going to a new country can feel scary when you’ve never been before and do not know the language. Nevertheless, I went with the hope that what God would do through me and our group would eliminate any fears I had. Sure enough, God worked in our lives and through us! From the beautiful mountains that were all around to the amazing Honduran people who welcomed our group with open arms into their homes and churches, God’s presence and love was undeniably felt.
One of the ways we continue to grow in faith is by trying new ways to serve, new ways to connect with our creator. It doesn’t have to be as big as traveling to a new country. The psalmist just sang a new song! Today, find a new way to engage with our creator.

Question to Ponder:
How have you connected with God lately?
God of all things new, inspire my faith to find new ways to connect to you so that my faith can stretch and grow closer to your image.
Thank you for helping me connect with you through…
Amen.
Wonder of God’s love
Love to wonder in God
Wonder to love in God
Love God through awe and wonder
Knowing God’s love and wonder is with you always
