Ordinary Time

Pause

Look around you, feel the breeze, and experience the loving warmth of God.

Listen

You are the holy one, enthroned. You are Israel’s praise. Our ancestors trusted you—they trusted you and you rescued them; they cried out to you and they were saved; they trusted you and they weren’t ashamed.

Psalm 22:3-5

Think

It often happens that the fear and doubt of what might happen takes over our minds. We get worried and anxious. Sometimes it slows us down or even stops us. These feelings of doubt can lead us to feel loneliness and anxiety and push us to live in deep silence.

We forget all the times God has come to our rescue to give us peace, joy, and direction.
That is why it is important that every day of our lives we remember God’s goodness.
Let us always keep in mind that developing and maintaining a relationship with God, in which we recognize who God is in our lives, will give us the assurance that if God was with us in the past, God is with us in the present and in the future.

Question to Ponder:

What things can I do to strengthen my trust in God?

Pray

God, even when the road is uncertain, I put my trust in you.
Thank you, Lord, that in the past you have shown your grace and love to me.
Help me to understand that even when the road seems uncertain, you go with me. Amen.

Go

Keep following God.

You are not alone, never alone.

God is with you.

God is with you.
