Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.

Think

Maps are traced with coordinates, kilometers, and distances. These are used to develop a sense of time and space. Maps are used to know how long it will take from one place to another. Sometimes we are so focused on the same way home, we have the same route, that we forget that there are other ways home.

God is calling you to renew your mind. The renewal of what we think transforms our perception of who God is and our calling in God’s presence. To renew your mind is to consider changing the patterns of life in routes of love, self-esteem, and purpose. When you determine to renew your patterns and routes, you find places faster, you invite other passengers along the way, and surpass the risk of conformity with the risk of mission.

God’s patterns will renew the rhythm of your life towards the great, loving, and perfect will of hope.
