And trust that God will guide you with a path and purpose.
We have different gifts that are consistent with God’s grace that has been given to us. If your gift is prophecy, you should prophesy in proportion to your faith. If your gift is service, devote yourself to serving. If your gift is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. If your gift is encouragement, devote yourself to encouraging. The one giving should do it with no strings attached. The leader should lead with passion. The one showing mercy should be cheerful.
Romans 12:6-8
Are you enjoying the ride? Getting to some place new, where God is calling you, can be easy and difficult at the same time. What to do to get there well? Use what you have. If it is singing, drawing, acting, playing sports, or knowing five languages, that is enough to get you to the place of purpose. We don’t all have to be pastors, worship leaders, or evangelists to feel useful in the journey; God’s creativity has given you new things for you to develop.
When we look at how others are developing in their journey, we could get frustrated. Automatically we start comparing ourselves. DO NOT DO THAT, PLEASE! For your journey, God has given you amazing gifts to proclaim grace, love, blessings, and experience the Spirit’s company along the way to know where you are heading.
Using your gifts for the journey will bless God’s name, but ultimately, it will bless someone else’s life and will inspire them to join the road of God’s great will.
