And trust that God will guide you with a path and purpose.

Listen

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; don’t rely on your own intelligence.

Know him in all your paths, and he will keep your ways straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Think

Have you ever done a trust fall? Trusting God’s directions is something similar. We usually try and go our way when we need to decide to follow God’s instructions in our life. The process of discernment is tied with our concept of intelligence. In knowing where you are heading, you must think on your relationship with God.

The trust fall is a decision to trust in faith, not a blind faith but an eye-opening faith. When you think it’s going to go wrong, God will be there. When you think there is no answer, God will catch you. When you think you are lost, God will guide you. Wherever you think you’re heading, whether you are sure or feeling a little lost, be humble enough to be guided, loved, and embraced in God’s loving presence.

Question to Ponder:

What areas do you need to mature in order to trust God more?

Pray

Thank you for guiding me, God.

I am living in the hope of your will and trusting your ways.

Help me trust you, others, and myself to walk in your name and in faith.

Amen.
