And trust that God will guide you with a path and purpose.
I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you search for me, yes, search for me with all your heart, you will find me.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
Map directions can be confusing. There are many symbols, numbers, drawings, and names. If youâve ever tried to understand a map, you may ask yourself: Is that supposed to help? Iâm supposed to get somewhere with that direction?
This also happens with life and faith. Church, the Bible, camps, retreats, youth group, and leaders are like the elements of a map; they will help you get somewhere soon. Though you may ask, âHow’s that gonna help?â, Godâs answer affirms that following the way will fill your journey with peace and hope for greater plans.
The quest of heading someplace new requires our heart’s will to be transformed into Godâs compass, to be led safe. Sometimes we think it’s left, other times right, but God is always there to guide you on time.
