No matter how you receive it—email, snail mail, hand-delivered, or face-to-face—there’s nothing like getting an invitation! It means somebody who knows you wants to hang out with you, spend time with you, and get to know you better.

God has an invitation for you as well. It means pretty much the same thing: God wants to spend time with you and wants your relationship to grow.

This invitation comes from within. Take a little time now to accept it.

Listen

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

Think

Buckle your seat belt; God is inviting you today on a trip around the world! Ready to go? Wait for it . . . wait for it . . . God’s power is about to fill you in an awesome way. See, God invites us to claim God’s power and then tell the whole world how special God is.

So, claim God’s powerful invitation today, then go across the street and tell someone about God’s love. Then, go down the road and tell someone. Then, go across town. Then . . . well, you know, until your story of God has made it around the world! Easy, right?

Pray

God, I can’t go around the world right now, but I do accept your invitation to go across the street or maybe just down to my school or where I work. Help me, OK? Amen!

Go

Oh, you have most definitely been invited!
Invited to join God in the good things God is doing.
Invited to walk alongside other believers in the Way.
Invited to live life to its fullest
As you follow Jesus—who invites everyone!
