The Lord’s Instruction is perfect, reviving one’s very being. The Lord’s laws are faithful, making naive people wise. The Lord’s regulations are right, gladdening the heart. The Lord’s commands are pure, giving light to the eyes.

Sometimes we are taught to view rules as walls that confine us, as boundaries that limit our freedom. But the wisdom of the psalms invites us to look at divine instruction from a different angle: not as a cage, but as a map of tenderness.

In a world saturated with voices, demands, and exhausting noise, God’s truth does not seek to overwhelm us, but to restore what has been broken within us. God’s guidance is an embrace that restores peace and brings clarity to those who are uncertain. It’s not about obeying out of fear, but about discovering a rhythm of life that heals, brings joy, and restores hope to each person. Today, let God’s voice calm your mind. Let God’s instruction guide you. Let God’s ways give you wisdom.
